I decided to try TurboTax after my prior accountant was no longer available. I've heard many positive things about the program, so I decided to try it for myself. I couldn't be more impressed. I purchased the Deluxe edition because it best met my needs and I'm quite happy with my return. I would recommend TurboTax anytime.
What's great about it: Ease of use.
What's not so great: None.

Great Product!

I have been using Turbo Tax for 10 years and 100% confident with doing my own taxes. While I don't have the most complicated taxes, filing can still be stressful but Turbo Tax quickly eliminates any angst.
What's great about it: Hints such as what is common and what is not common

Trouble with Income Worksheets

I have to file Ny an NJ returns and have to allocate my income. TT does not accurately handle this. It keeps asking for the same information over and over again and double adds it. You have to go into the NYS schedule A to manually do it and if you have more than one sheet you then cannot file your NYS return. Very inconvenient.

Love TurboTax!

Love this software! I have used it for many years to do my tax return and love it! I used a professional tax preparer one time and he actually messed up my return. I went back to TurboTax and have been so very happy with it! I highly recommend this software, even for complicated returns.
What's great about it: Easy to use, accurate, guides you through the return, thorough

It gets better each year

I have been using Turbo Tax for 10 years. It collects the historical data from the previous year which save time. The comparison from last year to this year helps with data collection. It works very well, including reminders about difference between years during the review. I will use no other tax software.
What's great about it: Logical Progression, easy to use
What's not so great: Could improve the way some expenses are collected
