Confusing about cd vs downloading from website- which does multiple returns. When downloading CD I was directed to website which prompted me to download and purchase turbotax. This almost made me purchase turbo tax twice (which I've done in the past by mistake).
Please make this easier and less confusing for users.

Misses Obvious Deductions

What a drag. Never again. Filed jointly but program never went to second person. Needed to do this manually. Basic deductions are not prompted automatically,
What's great about it: Gets proper Forms and fills them in
What's not so great: Better Know what deductions you are entitled to.

18 years of TurboTax!

I've been using TurboTax for 18 years! I wouldn't think of doing my taxes any other way. It's always improving and easy to use. TurboTax guides you through each step of your return with confidence and makes sure nothing is overlooked.

Can't Live Without It

I don't know how anyone can do their taxes without some sort of software. For close to twenty years I used a professional, but he went out of business. Over the last twenty years I have depended upon TurboTax to keep me out of trouble, and it has never failed me.

Efficient - Effective - Complete

The Tax Code seems to be more complex from year to year. it would be difficult for me to track thru the filing process and have appropriate entries without guidance. With the state tax prepared essentially simultaneously, when you are done you are done!
What's great about it: Turobo Tax covers all my situations and keeps up with changes from year to year.
What's not so great: Not Many

Doing Turbo for years

This is a great program for the most basic tax needs. If your tax situation is more complicated, you'll need to research your situation further before using this program. The help guidance doesn't explain complicated tax situations very well.

hard to work with this year

This is the worst version yet Have used turbo tax for many years but this year is bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The state came up with errors fixed the ran test showed none
but when I tried to print it stated errors. Fixed 3 times no luck!!

I LOVE Turbo Tax!

The first year you use TT you have to enter more information but after that everything is imported from the year before. No calculations to do, just answer the questions and the program does all the calculations for you. If it recognizes a problem or needs more info, it lets you know! You can even upgrade to a different TT product right in the middle of your return, if necessary. I have used TT for about 6 years and always recommend it to others!
What's great about it: Super easy, imports info from previous year!
What's not so great: None!
