Easy to use

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and love the simplicity. It only takes a short time to complete the forms and all questions that come up have an answer at the ready. After assembling all of the necessary data, it is an easy glide to the finish line.
What's great about it: Just answer the questions and follow the directions!

Concise and to the point with lots of help and additional explanations at the touch of a button when I needed a bit more information and context.
What's great about it: Easy to follow interviews... even tells me what paperwork needed

Less and less happy

I had to retrieve more information than previously; like loss carryover. It's on the previous return; why can't you get it.
Most importantly, I abhor the extortion fee for E-filing the State return. I hope the next administration simplifies you out of business.
What's great about it: Worked almost as expected.
What's not so great: Seemed to need more information than previous years.

It was probably something I did but much of my 2014 data was not available to use thus making comparisons unreliable.

2015 Tax review

I has been a long term Turbo Tax user and in 2014 I went to another method and did not find it as clear as Turbo Tax so for 2015 I returned to Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: The step-by-step mthod makes it very easy to fill out a tax return.
What's not so great: None

FAST EASY

Overall, the quick filing experience, WITH deductions, was excellent. I would give 4-1/2 stars. With 2014 filing, TurboTax supposedly created an account for me, but did not request that info - I had to manually enter it since I have a new computer. What was the point of the "account" then?
Still, very easy and fast, without MAC glitches this year as in previous years.

What's great about it: COMPLETED FILING IN 2 HOURS
What's not so great: Expected Turbo Tax to have previous filings info; new computer-filings on hard drive of old one
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
