The walk-through is precise and just about anyone can use the software. The fact the software does a self audit, when your done, gives you a peace of mind.

Only way to do it!!

Easy to use. Takes the "fear" out doing your taxes. No more "did i miss something?" I have been using TurboTax since 2000 and see no reason not to. My daughter works for a commercial tax preparation company and offered to do it for free. I opted for TurboTax because I knew every possible deduction would be looked at. I can not imagine doing my taxes any other way!!

Worked seamlessly. Doing my return is so easy. I can search for a specific topic or form get info or be directly to the questions related to that form.
What's great about it: I do not need to understand tax laws whew

Easy Peasy

I have been using TurboTax for about 10 years now and I love this program! It takes me about 2 hrs to put everything into the program. No headaches here! The only issues are with me and what I have ready and if that I am searching for stuff on my end!
What's great about it: The program walks you step by step and every question I had was answered easily by clicking on the "What's this?"
What's not so great: It's taxes

I HIGHLY recommend Turbo Tax, It is a much much better program than the HR Block CD Program. I will use this program for years and years to come. WAAY cool!

Continued improvement

The improvements that were made to the 2015 edition made the dreadful yearly task a little less daunting. I have been using Turbotax since 2008 and with each year the updates to the software have lowered the anxiety and need for medication as well as have greatly reduced the tax season nightmares. I can't say it makes doing your taxes fun (that would be a lie) but it does make it better!
What's great about it: Quick, accurate with a user friendly interface
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbotax for 2015

Maine State Tax has been filed "incorrectly" due to difficulty in editing numbers that were locked in. Painful process this time. Tough maneuvering through the forms...not user friendly as in past years. More than likely will seek other options in the future and definitely not recommend to others.
BTW The review was also painful.
What's great about it: Always used in the past but NOT user friendly this year.
What's not so great: Difficulty working through and editing impossible.
