easy to follow the instructions

As always, Turbo Tax is a painless way of doing your taxes. The checks that is programmed are the best. I have never had an issue with my returns.
What's great about it: each question is spelled out in simple terms

Little different

It was a short a sweet program. but left me looking for answers in other areas. Made completing the process a little longer than I had hoped.

Faster than ever!

I've been using Turbo Tax for decades, and will continue in the future because it makes the next year tax return even easier to complete. Turbo Tax uses plain language and makes answering the questions easy - there's no "tax lingo-inside jargon" just easy to understand questions and explanations.
What's great about it: Using self-guided features makes quick work
What's not so great: It's taxes! What else can I say?

I never use anything other than turbotax. I love how it guides me step by step in a language I can understand. It's almost fool proof.

Like the year to year continuity and transfer of information. e-filing is also a great benefit.
What's great about it: Comparison with last years entries
What's not so great: Multiple state tax coordination
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Better Than Last Year

This is my second year of using TurboTax. I used to spend 8 plus hours by hand then inputting into PC. I did this in about 3 hours. If there are problems I am not aware nor did it aversely affect my outcome.
What's great about it: Fast, ability to import even after I bought a new PC and had to import data, asks all the right questions, very helpful
What's not so great: Wasn't sure on a couple of items so I went to Fed IRS site to review stuff

Simple, Quick & Easy!

I did my taxes in an afternoon and have no regrets!
What's great about it: I just gather my tax statements and TurboTax walks me through it!
What's not so great: Not much. Even if you make a mistake answering a question, you can always click "back."

Bummed with software presentation

Liked the old way of looking at the forms, split screen was irritating....couldn't see enough of the form to follow. Also, you couldn't drill back to the appropriate worksheet like the screen suggested. Maybe just a software glitch??? Have used Turbo Tax for years & feel that the quality of the product is going down hill. Will probably re-evalutate & look into another product next year.... after the 2014 marketing issue (which I stood by Turbo Tax) and performance issues this year.....????
What's great about it: Still gets the job done
What's not so great: Format was a bit cumbersome.
