Software works great. It makes the process so easy. I usually use the prompts to go through everything. It may take a little longer, but it helps remember some of the deductions that are not that common.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: No cons.

Fast and simple!

I had a few issues with the personal property and car information. It seems that the help they offered wasn't really that helpful. Still a fantastic program. My mother recommended it and I have to say I'm very impressed. I'll be buying it yearly as long as they keep it up.
What's great about it: Very quick. Easy to understand. Gave a much better refund than competitors.
What's not so great: Some things can be explained better.

Be careful you do not deduct some things twice. And carefully check that what you should have deducted has been done so.
What's great about it: Performs all necessary calculations
What's not so great: Does not always let you know what data has been entered

Easier every year

Liked it, but would like more information at start up to know if it is processing...never sure if it was started or thinking or what. Great that it is finished in an afternoon!
What's great about it: User friendly when completing calculations
What's not so great: Too many steps tp e-file...please streamline

Refinanced two mortgages this year and entries of interest was , of course, easy. But things such as Mortgage insurance, origination fees, were not in logical entry order.
Do not all the medical deductions in the different categories still amount to the same deduction overall? Why have to spend a week breaking it down to individual categories.
What's great about it: Does all the calculations for me and sometimes to my enjoyment
What's not so great: Doesn't enter all the data for me. And that takes too long, too many breakdowns on things such as medical/dental/prescr

Federal Great......State a Pain in the Posterior

The State form would not allow me to submit the form, and my return. I followed every suggestion on line, could not get it to work. Ended up calling support and happened to end up with a superb support rep, who walked me through going to safe mode, and we ended up resolving the issue, and I was able to submit my return. Thank you to Jennell. You restored my faith in Intuit and Turbotax. I was about to never ever use this product again after 20+ years of using it. You have a customer next yerar for sure.
What's great about it: Federal as always fine. Superb, superb phone support once I could get through.
What's not so great: State....form would not let me "continue" at the point where I had to pay for the State form.
