I've been using Turbo Tax for 6 years. My taxes are not very complicated, so it's pretty easy for me. I just let Turbo Tax download my W2 information right into my return and then allow it to walk me through each item.
I'm not sure how great it would be for folks with lots of properties or a business, but I guess those folks have enough money to pay someone to do their taxes, huh?
For those of us who have to pinch every penny, Turbo Tax is a great deal. I highly recommend it!

What's great about it: Simple, easy to follow instructions, quick, updates your info from the last year's return
What's not so great: Sometimes there is not enough explanation on some items

Very easy tax return program, I am totally happy

Excellent choice!!! Using Turbo tax Deluxe, I was able to complete my taxes, both Fed and State in a short amount of time with no problems. I really thought my 401k rollover would be the stump, but the program smoothly acquired all the information and calculated everything accurately. Saved me a bundle ,I'll used it next year for sure...
What's great about it: Easy enough for a child to fill out
What's not so great: no cons

Easy as ever before

Using Quicken to manage my day to day finances and having used Turbo Tax for years, the electronic transfers are easy. Electronic transfers from my bank and my brokerage eliminate typos. Although this year's return was bit more complex, it took about 40 minutes to complete.
What's great about it: Step by step walkthrough
What's not so great: Really none
Pros: I bought or sold investments

What's not so great: not able to print out info I thought was pertinent for my records, not the tax returns. Had to use prtsc

Could be a bit more concise.
What's great about it: Easy to use/user friendly
What's not so great: Time consuming
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: EASY TO USE, THOROUGH, CONFIDENT THAT TAXES DONE RIGHT, COMPLETE. DOES MOST OF THE WORK FOR YOU.
