EASY TO USE

THERE IS A LOT OF HELP AVAILABLE WHICH SIMPLIFIES FILING OUT RETURN. EVERYTHING IS PRETTY INTUITIVE. DON'T NEED TO BE A TAX SPECIALIST TO CREATE RETURN
What's great about it: ACA ISSUES SIMPLIFIED
What's not so great: 1098T AND 1099Q RULES NEED SOME CLARITY AS TO WHOSE RETURN THEY SHOULD BE ON. 1099Q IS REALLY BENEFICIARY PROBLEM.

I used It's Deductible online to track deductions but couldn't find a way to link them to my PC based TurboTax program. This is a major shortcoming. I had to print then re-enter the info on the PC based program.
What's great about it: It's all there, easy to use.
What's not so great: No way to pull deductions from It's Deductible Online

Screwed up big time on tax calculation

I have used TurboTax for many years and it makes my complicated taxes easy. This year something went wrong and I didn't notice it until I submitted it. I'm sure I will hear from the IRS.
What's great about it: Makes it easy and all forms are available
What's not so great: Screwed up my tax

Although this years installation did not go as smoothly as before, overall I am very satisfied with TurboTax. I have been using TurboTax for several years and feel secure and confident in continuing to do so.
What's great about it: quick and easy

Loyal Turbo Tax User

I have in previous years, when Turbo Tax first looks for previous tax forms, been able to at least look at previous year's entries, i.e., charitable contributions. This year it did not bring the 2014 entries over for reviewing. I'm not sure why.
I have been a long-time user of Turbo Tax, and except when I went through a divorce, I have always used this software with the utmost confidence.

What's great about it: I like that Turbo Tax gives you the options to either "Walk you Through" or "Select What You Want to Review"
What's not so great: 2015 Did not bring over 2014 information

One small thing to improve

On some of the pull down menus, especially the deductions, it would be some much easier if the next topic to cover was on the top instead of having to scroll down to find it. Not a big deal just more of an inconvenience. Thanks for listening.
