My returns are simple, therefore, Turbo Tax beats hiring an accountant.
What's great about it: easy to navigate

Great software program

Turbo tax is the fastest and most simple way to do your taxes. I really like it a lot. I have been using turbo tax for about ten years and I have no complaints. I would recommend it to any one that does not like to do taxes but wants to do it themselves to make sure that it has been done correctly.
What's great about it: I like to be able to simply answer the the questions at my own pace and then e-file.
What's not so great: I have not found ant cons with this program, I am very happy with it.

Use this package

I can't imagine using any other tax return package. TurboTax sources W-2 info from employers and saves a lot of unnecessary keystrokes.
For multi-year TT users, it would be really great if all the worksheets and forms had a tab with last years' entries on it.
Other than that, I absolutely love it.
What's great about it: It's easy to begin with, and gets easier every year.
What's not so great: Could use a few more "more info" links
