Easier than going to tax preparer

I find this the easiest way to prepare our taxes. Albeit, if I have been using this program for years, I think it should figure out by now that we don't bank or have resided in another state or country by now. Then again, this is a safety factor. It is one of the easiest ways to prepare taxes without being hassled by a tax preparer.
What's great about it: Walks you through everything
What's not so great: Doesn't recognize your previous year activity within the program

Simple and Straightforward

My tax situation is basic ... Single with a job and a house. I'm not an overly active market trader and not an accountant. Just a guy. Itemizing is very simple and all features are explained well with the hyperlinks. I've used TurboTax for the past few years and always felt comfortable with the level of detail and depth of questions from the software.
What's great about it: Simple, Intuitive, Explanatory, Easy to Comprehend
What's not so great: None that I've found

First time user. I have filed my tax returns the old fashion way (pencil and paper) for 50 years. This is a time saver.

Disappointment

It is un-nerving when a tax program repeatedly crashes. After 3 days, the program did open my return after announcing that it could not open the return and would have to rebuild.
What's great about it: Guided through all pertinent items
What's not so great: Would not load my return after the 3/05/2016 update.

Turbo Tax Deluxe

This years (2015) Turbo Tax Deluxe is the best one yet. Loads fast, is clear and simple to use. The amount of checks for errors and completeness is comforting. I have used Turbo Tax for more than 10 years with complete confidence and with out problems.
