This customer did not provide a text review.
What's not so great: A description of who can be claimed as dependents would have been nice.

Great for catching all deductions.

Great for catching all deductions. "It's Deductible" software is really helpful when calculating values of charitable donations. Turbo Tax walks you thru every section so that you aren't likely to miss any entries. Remember, you should review everything before filing to be sure all data is correct. We found that direct deposit data did not auto-transfer from federal to state forms. After searching the Turbo Tax online support, we found others were having the same problem, and one post had instructions to add the data manually. We have used Turbo Tax for several years now, and find it to be well worth the cost.
What's great about it: "It's Deductible" is great. Online support very helpful.
What's not so great: Some data did not auto-transfer to state forms.

This year was much easier than past years. The program was more detailed, eliminating a lot of guess work.
What's great about it: Answers at your finger tips, no waiting to be called back
What's not so great: need to know upfront not to add medicine cost with drug insurance premiums

Exceptional Program

We have used Turbo Tax now for a few years and we love the fact that we can submit without worries because they take you step by step through every possibility and scenario. It is so easy to use and be able to submit the return. It has saved us money each year because we do not have to hire the services of a CPA and yet, we are asked the same questions and Turbo Tax wants to be able to find you all the deductions you can have which works great for our family. Much appreciation and thanks for a program that is workable for the common man.
What's great about it: Step by Step screens that provide error free returns
What's not so great: None

Did the job

Overall the instructions are straight forward and easy to follow. I didn't like the following: 1. After completing a section it should lead you to the next link. Instead you have to scroll down to see the next section 2. The wording needs to be better for those that contribute to a IRA and later convert/recategorize (NOT recharacterize) to a Roth IRA. 3. It was be great if the software asked questions based on your job. As a pilot, I fall unto different rules and it would be very helpful if the software lead me with those rules in mind. 4. Colorado has free e-filing. I know you want to make money, but it would be simple to allow you to link to the Colorado website. Or at least inform customers of that options.
What's great about it: fairly easy to follow
What's not so great: Didn't do well with IRA and Roth convertions
