What's not so great: STATE RETURNS DO NOT OFFER AS MUCH HELP

Easy to do is easy to say

I am 91 years old and, I am a little slow but TurboTax was very helpful AND patient... It took me several days to get through it all but, FINALLY ! I reached the end of the tunnel !

Easy & Quick

Overall the program was easy and quick to use. The questions and explanations were clear and easy to understand. For some reason when I entered my state and local estimated tax payments the local estimated payments were not recognized as a credit toward my total state tax bill. I had to combine both the state and local estimated payments and enter them just under the state estimated payment section to get the program to apply them to the total tax bill.
What's great about it: Quick and easy to do. Questions were easy to understand.
What's not so great: Not clear that state & local estimated payments were combined this year.

Painless Again

Once again, filling out the forms and filing took less than 3 hrs starting from scratch. There seems to be less time wasted on choices that are not relevant to my (or most people's) situation.
Liked not having to provide addresses for any charity with donation less than $500.

Getting better every year

I have been using TurboTax for over 20 years and it is still exciting.
What's great about it: Easy to do yourself
What's not so great: Lots of questions to ensure we get it right
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

What's not so great: Didn't import data directly from Quicken 2016 for MAC
