Super Easy to use year after year

I was scared when I first started using Turbo Tax five years ago. Now I can't imagine doing taxes without it.
What's great about it: It remembers everything you did the year before and doesn't let you forget a thing.
What's not so great: Needs more cowbell. :-)

GOOD JOB TURBO

I HAVE BEEN USING TURBO TAX SINCE 1993. UNTILL LAST YEAR I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. SEEMS DELUX FOR 2014 WOULDN'T OPERATE PROPERLY I WAS ADVISED TO PURCHASE PREMIER AND INTUIT WOULD GIVE ME A REBATE. I EITHER WASN'T NOTIFIED OF HOW TO CLAIM MY REBATE OR MISSED THE NOTICE. BUT REALLY I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. I LOVE TURBO TAX.
What's great about it: TO THE POINT QUESTIONS, EASY DIRECTIONS
What's not so great: LAST YEAR HAD PROBLEMS W/DELUX - NOT THIS YEAR
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Absolutely Fabulous!

This was my first experience with Turbo Tax. I am a single parent and have needed assistance with tax preparation the past few years. This year I was determined to file myself, with Turbo Tax. I can truly say this was virtually painless. I am very grateful to the developers of this program!
What's great about it: So patient and clear. Very straightforward!

Had a problem with the error checker

I filled out each of the forms myself instead of using the question-answer method. The error checker said everything was okay, but the federal refund looked too large compared to past years. Finally traced the difference to the IRA Information Worksheet where I had failed to enter Line 2, Year-end value on 12/31/2015. If I had submitted the return without Line 2 filled in, the IRS would have hit me hard.
What's great about it: It would be almost impossible to file a tax return without Turbo Tax

I had used turbo tax for years and was very happy with the product. Not this year. The first disc I bought would not load onto any computer. Return it and the next disc loaded fine but would not print more than one page when printing return. Had to manually select each page to be printed, Not pleased at all with this years software and will definitely consider other software next year

Very user friendly

This is my third year using Turbo tax, and I must say that I should've used this software YEARS AGO. Even without having any itemized deductions, thsi is a handy software to gain needed knowledge on when preparing ones own taxes.
What's great about it: A very detailed software application
What's not so great: None

This is the worst year I have ever had with TurboTax. The Federal updates had to be manually installed and the state updates required assistance from TT helpdesk. Plus you pay for the Deluxe CD and still have to pay to have State e-filed. The frustration is not worth it.
