Good application software

You have to have a lot of confidence in the software to like the interview process to obtain tax data. If you had the option of see the forms as they are completed it would add to my confidence.
What's great about it: worked pretty smooth
What's not so great: would like to see the forms as filled out
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Excellent Program

Overall the program is fantastic. I have been using TurboTax since the 2nd year that Mike Chipman sold it.
Problem: When accessing a file that had previously been worked on and saved i.e. couple of days later the program does not go back to point where it was save.
Problem: While working on a file if I go back several steps some of the data previously entered is not there.
Problem: When using efile for Fed and St on purchasing state it gave me a chance to print the order, when I clicked the icon it did not print the order.
Problem: When accessing a file that had previously been worked on and saved i.e. couple of days later the program does not go back to point where it was save.
Problem: While working on a file if I go back several steps some of the data previously entered is not there.
Problem: When using efile for Fed and St on purchasing state it gave me a chance to print the order, when I clicked the icon it did not print the order.
I love it anyway and will continue for as long as possible or until Intuit drops it.

Great product

Overall a very good product. I had no trouble at all.
What's great about it: Very easy to use; liked the use of the flags
What's not so great: Was disappointed that I could not print out the details of my deductions when I I had completed the entry.

I have used TurboTax for many years now and I am still very happy with what I am paying for. Sometimes, I feel like I am getting bogged down in some areas that do not affect me, but I guess this is the price I pay to have a good, solid return prepared. I will continue to recommend and use TurboTax.
What's great about it: Clearly works me throught all the details to get the best refund.

Using for many years

No one likes to pay taxes but with Turbo Tax the act of preparing taxes eases the pain of paying taxes. A particularly good feature is the seamless transition to State tax preparation once the Federal tax form if found to be error free. And Turbo Tax will not let you complete a form with errors so there is less chance of having to deal directly with the IRS.
What's great about it: Easy to find Turbo Tax, easy to prepare and have never had an issue.
What's not so great: No complaints
