you still have an error in the Al State taxes. I cannot claim my son on federal because he did not live with me and he made too much money. However I can claim him on my Al tax if I paid over 50%

Turbo Tax Deluxe

I like the ease of walking thru the filing process, the double checking. Good product.Filing state tax is free on the state web site. Not user friendly for transferring data to the state site from turbo tax. Your forms do not mimic the state site forms which makes it difficult to transfer. Will probably look closer at other software next year to include a free state file.
What's great about it: Fast, accurate and free "E" filing.
What's not so great: Charges for "E" filing state tax which is free on the state website.

Dear Turbo Tax,
I like the general set up of just filling in the boxes!! Very easy and simple.
I don't like the efforts to sell extra service by setting up situations that are ambiguous, or at least that's how I see them. Tell me if that does not exist.
Sorry to be a complainer.
Basically a very good way to do my taxes.

Never been disappointed

I think I started using this when they first put it out and have used it ever since. I have never had a problem. I have never been audited which I attribute to their attention to detail and the legalities. I feel confidant when I turn in the forms that thanks to Turbo Tax, I have done my best to turn in an honest tax return.
And it gets better every year.
