Love Turbo Tax. It is fast and easy and walks you through everything!
What's great about it: Love the double check for errors!!!

What's great about it: Relatively easy to follow the questioning technique
What's not so great: I always have trouble with explaining (on the tax forms) that I am a "Minister of Religion" and the housing issues.

Much better than doing it by hand!!

I had trouble getting all the pages to print. When I tried to print all of them at once, the printer would get stuck after a few pages every time. Then I tried to do 3-4 pages at a time and that worked until I got a ways. Then I started doing it one page at a time, and that worked except for the first page of the Oregon return. I still haven't gotten that page to print. It just gets stuck and won't print it.
What's great about it: Liked the charitable donations section, very easy + listing all the W-2G & 1099 info
What's not so great: I am having a very hard time getting all the pages to print.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

i have to say it has become easier each year to start and complete a tax return. i have been using turbo tax for over ten years .i think i will continue using turbo tax until i do not have to file or because i am not able.
What's great about it: i like being able to run the course by the detail or at a summary level
What's not so great: i some times have a problem making error corectrions

2016 Tax Program

I have used other programs in the past but TurboTax is easier to use. I love it.

One Tiny Glitch

things went well except for the Federal Carryover Worksheet.During the review segment the sheet popped up indicating there was an error. I used Turbo Tax research and found that one of the columns was miss identified. I input the appropriate information and the problem was solved.
Glad the fix was available to expedite completing the tax return.

Some of your questions asked you to answer yes to indicate that the answer you wanted was no. Some selections where in a very small font size, eg. types of IRA accounts.
What's great about it: Seemed to be very thorough
What's not so great: Some questions counterintuitive
