An other great year with turbo Tax

I have used TurboTax for 8 years now and its the only why I file my taxes. I remeber doing my taxes by hand... It literaly took me days. Now with TurboTax filing taxes is quick, easy and stress free!
What's great about it: Helps brake down my taxes into bit sized pieces and guides me step by step.
What's not so great: Can be too simple sometimes to the point where Im not sure how to answer. More help buttons would be nice.

great refund

I liked the fact that my Edward Jones accounts readily came across. Don't know why I couldn't bring the TIAA-CREF 1099s over. Would like to see the SSA-1099s and USPBGC 1099s easily downloaded. Generally very clear instructions, but there were times I wasn't sure if I was putting in correct information, especially with the state returns. Overall, a very positive experience and will use Turbo Tax next year.
What's great about it: can download some 1099s; easy to use; good instructions
What's not so great: some 1099s not downloadable

After completing 1040, found that medical expenses were too high. Noticed that TT included our SS Medicare deduction but didn't include it in a box like all the other medical amounts; consequently, I failed to notice it and added the SS Medicare amount a second time with the rest of the medical expenses causing the total to be in error.
I've have used Turbo Tax every year for many years, dating back to the 1980's.

What's great about it: The guide or step by step... Confidence in Turbo Tax that it is 100% accurate.
What's not so great: When calculating medical expenses, Turbo Tax needs to box in SS Medicare payments.

2015 tax return

Turbo Tax is very efficient with precise instructions. The procedures follow the fed. tax 1040 form. It's a can't miss tax software.
What's great about it: income and deductions instructions very easy to follow
What's not so great: none

I have used Turbotax for several years now and love it.
What's great about it: Very user friendly!
What's not so great: You just have to take the time!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
