Saved Us Money!

Turbo Tax was great! We have been going to CPAs the past several years and decided to try Turbo Tax. It was VERY easy to use, didn't leave you guessing if you calculated the boxes correctly and didn't cause stress in my life!
What's great about it: Easy to use, walks you through every step
What's not so great: Would be nice to see forms when you are finished entering information rather than at the end when you are filing.

I used to do taxes by hand. Wouldn't even consider it now. Turbotax covers all aspects of tax filing that can be easily overlooked by normal people.
What's great about it: Simple step by step process
What's not so great: Still owe taxes

Answer Questions

I have been using this software for a number of years and find it easy to use, until I come across something different. I missed ONE little box that sent me into a tailspin. After much swearing and hair pulling I followed the questions and was able to get the problem solved.
Help doesn't always give answers from experts. My questions may have been answered with instructions from last year because I never found the tab they instructed me to use.
What's great about it: I like to see what would happen if certain boxes were checked differently.
What's not so great: Can be hard to use if you choose to not answer ALL the questions.

Did what it was supposed to

The income tax laws are incredibly complicated. I don't think anyone can be sure that they did them right, but with turbotax at least you can say that you tried to do the best you could.
What's great about it: It did what it was supposed to do.
What's not so great: Had a little bit of difficulty with credit carryover from 2014.

Is Trubo really trubo

In most cases when I'm coming back to resume my taxes, the program doesn't start where I left off. Instead it may take to almost the beginning. Can't print a current page without going through a lot of clicking.
What's great about it: Completeness and simplicity
What's not so great: Can't print individual pages to view off computer
