Taxes made easy

Just fill in information from sheets sent by employer/bank/broker.
Any missteps are caught in the review.

What's great about it: step by step guidance. Importing data so much better than filling in form after form.
What's not so great: Making corrections is a little confusing.

Comparing 2014 vs 2015

I have been using Turbotax for as long as I can remember. I could not transfer information from previous year to the current tax procedure. First I tried using the online version and it did not work I then downloaded the CD and it would not transfer the information either. I am using a MAC and it is the same machine I used last year.
What's great about it: Could not use this feature
What's not so great: Would have been helpful

Easy to Use

We enjoy the ease of using Turbo Tax each year!
What's great about it: The step by step instructions make filing taxes VERY easy.
What's not so great: A checklist of items needed before beginning taxes would be helpful so we aren't scrambling for things as they come up.

Solid Tax Program, used for years

The Charity/Donation section lacked versatility in combining ItsDeductable pricing with my pricing of items. I would like to see this improved so that both can be combined to determine deductions.
What's great about it: Easy to use while being very detailed.
What's not so great: Charity/Donation section lacks versatillity

TurboTax Deluxe

It is time consuming that every time I complete an item and go to the next one I have to scroll from the time of the list. This occurs when entering income, deductions and when listing contributions. Is it possible to return to the last entry?
When I open a new session the program does not go to where I left off. I select the return to continue, but it opens at the "personal Info" scree each time. I must forward to the screen I was working at.
Otherwise, TurboTax is the best tax software available. I have been using it since the early days when you had to manually enter the data from TTax onto the 1040 through the time when you provided pin feed forms for my dot matrix printer and the program came on 5" floppies. As long as there are taxes I will use TurboTax!
What's great about it: Complete with all necessary forms
What's not so great: Scrolling and continuing
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Have used TT for years, but then passed over to our CPA for final review and final filing. Over the years our taxes have become little more simple so decided with agreement with our CPA to e-file ourselves for 2015. Worked great!
