Step by Step makes it easy

A good program for those with not real complicated taxes or limited knowledge. Good help screens. Good staff if call if still stumped. Really like the download feature for W2 & 1099's. Really like that it transfers pertinent info from previous years return if you used Turbo tax.
What's great about it: Good step by step screen. Like downloan feature for W2 & 1099.

I like the reminders of past income and deductions. I liked the comparison feature using last years numbers.
What's great about it: I found turbo very easy to understand and to follow instructions.
What's not so great: No problems to report.

I'VE USED TURBOTAX FOR SEVERAL YEARS. I ALWAYS FEEL CONFIDANT THAT I WILL COVER EVERYTHING AND THAT THE CALCULATIONS ARE CORRECT. THE PROGRAM LEADS YOU THROUGH THE PROCESS IN A LOGICAL PROGRESSION & TRANSFERS FROM FED. RETURN TO STATE RETURN SO THERE IS NO TIME LOST REINPUTTING DATA. VERY EASY TO WORK WITH.
What's great about it: IT'S DEDUCTIBLE IS A GREAT TOOL, INCREASED MY DEDUCTIONS BY SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS.
What's not so great: DON'T HAVE ANY.

Could still be improved

I have used TurboTax for many years, and I am overall very satisfied. However, I wish that I could sort my list of charities in alphabetical order within TurboTax.
What's great about it: Thorough, logical, helpful
What's not so great: Good but charitable deductions awkward

Turbo Shows Yearly Comparison

It is a nice feature of Turbo Tax that periodically during the data entry, it shows last year's numbers vs this year's numbers. That way if you see anything unusual, it give you a chance to see why there was a difference. This was helpful in reminding me of deductions to take, for example.

Excellent Product

What's important to me is of course that the return be accurate, and I'm confident it will be when I use Turbotax. My only complaint is that sometimes I felt like I had to click two or three times when one click would do - for example when entering charitable donations. But I consider this to be only an annoyance - keep up the good work on the product!
What's great about it: Menus are easy to follow; questions are specific and help me easily identify what is needed.
What's not so great: I sometimes felt like I had to click too many times

As usual doing taxes is never fun, but I look forward to doing them with TurboTax. I know that if I forget something I will be reminded to complete the task. I have only once made an error and it was because of a missing 1099 I did not receive.Overall an average guy who can read an is willing to learn the basics of tax returns, should have no problem with filling out a return.
What's great about it: easy to follow, options, reviews
What's not so great: a little different layout every year
