The first time I saved I failed to save. I had to begin again. Beginning again did not send me through personal info which I thought was well done, not being used. As a consequence I did not understand the limits of deductions until I called up and got proper advice. Problem: I was being treated a single rather than as married jointly.
I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO PRINT OUT ONLY WHAT GOES TO THE GOVERNMENT. I don't need the work sheets printed. I can easily read them in the computer.

State Income Tax

I choose efiling for federal but hardcopy filing for state. TurboTax walks me through the efiling of federal tax and then no guidance on how to file the state income tax. I wish TurboTax will guide me through "how to file State income tax" once I am done with the federal.

Favorite method for filing taxes

Very simple and quick process, at least if you're a simple person with little variables in tax breaks and such like me. Only had one hiccup where it wasn't processing my payment for an e-file on state, but it went through the next day so I believe it was resolved.
What's great about it: Simple, easy, quick.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

I have been doing my taxes for over 50 years. I get, store and process my tax info. by form. Going through your complete data entry is too confusing. I realize the congress and IRS make rules that are stupid and confusing. more turbotax flags when we enter info by form might help but don't get too cute.

What's great about it: The detailed step-by-step instructions are excellent. Appreciate informatin identifying rare situations
What's not so great: I find it difficult to see the content of the return until the end. Should be able to view the return.
