Worst year ever for Turbo Tax. Wouldn't update forms until I did the manual update and State forms never updated. I believe I should be refunded the cost of this product.
What's great about it: Familiar name brand
What's not so great: Trouble from day 1 and no tech support

I like everything about the program. Because I use it every year, I don't have to enter all of the data, it transfers last years information. Also, because it transfers the information, it constantly reminds me what I filed last year.
What's great about it: Very easy for anyone to use.
What's not so great: None, if you can read and work a mouse, you can do it.

betteer than H & R Block

Because of the problems last year I switched to H & R Block. Big mistake. I caught some red flags while doing my taxes and decided to buy turbo tax after buying H & R Block. I saved more money and, more importantly, have more confidence in the accuracy of my return.
What's great about it: reliable and efficient
What's not so great: the snafu of last year

Part Year Allocations

The desktop product is easier to use than the cloud based product. Easier to switch to "Forms". The interface should be clearer and more comprehensive for preparing partial year return for deceased taxpayer, where allocations need to be made to the estate income tax return for the rest of the year.
What's great about it: Seemed comprehensive
What's not so great: Not clear on allocations to part year for deceased taxpayer

I have been using TurboTax for 15 years and have never had a problem with it. I am a senior citizen and I find it easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and use. Two methods for use, be led by TurboTax or do it yourself.
What's not so great: None

Quick and Easy

I have been using Turbo Tax for 5 years. It is always accurate and always complete. I have had a professional check the returns the last 2 years and they could not have gotten a higher refund for me. I love this product.
