No math!!

Turbo Tax needs to be more user friendly when it comes to editing a return. I put in my street address and forgot to put in the town and zip, and it would not let me go back and do that in spite of trying twice.
What's great about it: I don't have to do math!! It figures everything out for me!
What's not so great: I could not go back and edit my state return. I needed to add something to my physical address and it would not let me.

I had no major problems this year using turbo. There was a section where it says it needs all the addresses of the charity groups I gave money to, but it only took two and not anymore and left me hanging to think I may have a problem down the line.
What's great about it: Step by Step is great
What's not so great: Some multiple answer statements don't "always" include the right answer

I have used TurboTax for several years and I am completely satisfied with the program ease and completeness. It walks you through the process and leaves nothing out. It makes doing my own tax return easy and gives me confidence that it is done right.

Helps me to remember everything

I've been filing our taxes using TurboTax for at least 10 years. I find it easy to use and appreciate that information from my prior return is carried over making entry easier.
What's great about it: easy; walks you through everything; tracks your refund or balance due throughout
What's not so great: language when errors are spotted is hard to follow

Overall I would recommend. We saved $60 doing it ourselves but the hassle of having to call and pay took a star away. The cost and not being able to expand the software to make it larger took a star away, Why not just include the $ of state file???
What's great about it: Easy Download to MAC, Fairly intuitive, Better return than accountant got us last year
What's not so great: $$ too much, can't file state from MAC software we had to pay by phone, Can't expand window to make larger
