Quick and Helpful Software

Prior to 2014, I was very skeptical about using Turbo Tax to complete our tax returns. But then a family member showed me how easy it was to create and complete, and I have been a fan ever since. I really enjoy the format in which the questions are asked and the additional help that's given if something is unclear. I also love the ease of e-filing the federal and/or state, if necessary. I also love that you can save your return and come back to it at a later date, if needed. And best of all, there has been no request for audit yet! Overall, I think it's a great program and I look forward to using it next year as well.
What's great about it: Conversational Format, Quick and Easy Process, Great Additional Assistance Tools
What's not so great: Some Confusing Sections, E-File Confusion

Taxes Made Easy

I've been using Turbo-Tax for over 10 yrs. never had any problems, except with NH state tax where pre-filled download data for exempt dividends fed over from federal return as a NH exception which it is not. That was finally corrected.
What's great about it: Financial data downloads
What's not so great: Help screens not always clear

Turbo Tax is great

It is great to use Turbo Tax. A lot better than doing them by hand and it automatically finds mistakes I have made. The time savings is huge compared to doing it by hand.

4th or 5th year using Turbo Tax. Eases the pain of completing income tax returns. Some sections are confusing and requires additional research to get a complete explanation.
What's great about it: software filled in required fields without having to repeat information
What's not so great: some sections did not provide a complete explanation unless you went to ira.gov
