As good as it gets

TurboTax made my tax filing easier. I read a lot on the changes on the tax filing, but I felt confident enough to have finished the filing. Keep up the good work!
What's great about it: Easy to transfer information with good questions
What's not so great: could be better if downloading was smoother

Easy to use, and I like how the software attempts to maximize your refund. I was surprised, however, that my info from the 2014 tax year was not simply available through TurboTax (on-line), but that I instead had to access last year's info on my computer (which I did not have access to when I began doing my 2015 return, so I had to enter some types of info anew).
What's great about it: Walks you through, step-by-step.
What's not so great: When backtracking, seems like form forgets you've already provided some information.

I used to use a friend that was a tax preparer. Turbo Tax has given me just as much money back at only a fraction of the price.
Even my daughter uses it now.

I have been using TurboTax since they first started. A big Intuit follower. I mistakenly took our taxes to a popular brand name tax prep office one year and found that the "tax experts" didn't know anything about tax laws. They were only data entry clerks for the H&R Block software. Never again will we waste our time and money on something we can do ourselves with the help of Intuit's TurboTax! Thank you!!
What's great about it: Easy to understand and fast!
What's not so great: The annual software purchase cost

Like transferring info into next years filing and comparing it to previous years.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: I did not need to pay quarterly last year and in a panic not to pay a penality I made the full payment but will get it
