Great Program

This is the third time I've used TurboTax. I had paid an accountant to prepare my taxes for years. I think wasted my money.

Easy, fast and affordable

Very easy to do my Federal and State taxes. It guides you through the whole process.
At one point I did need assistance. There is a phone number you can call. I spoke to an agent who was not only knowledgeable but was extremely pleasant to talk to. He was able to answer all of my questions.
I finished and was able to print out my entire Federal and State tax forms. File Electronically...It just that easy.

What's great about it: Very easy to complete. I did need assistance, when I called their assistance phone number, the agent was awesome

What's great about it: Thorough interview-style tax prep, clear step-by-step process, flexible entry methods, simple e-filing
What's not so great: Unclear product descriptions make choosing which product to buy a bit confusing

As always, I used T" Tax without a glitch. T" Tax is easy and walks me through all the areas. It would be even easier if I chose not to walk through, but this way, I don"t miss any new deduction. Have used for several years and I have been able to select a version of T" Tax with each change in my financial status. Will be a continued customer.
What's great about it: Quick, thorough, and easy to use.

More stressful than ever before!

I have been using MacInTax and TurboTax since the late 1980s.
I am charged each November for the Deluxe version. Then nothing happens. In March I have to go to the Intuit website and find out how to get the program I paid for. This year I fought the website for two hours before I found out how to download the program from the Intuit website. The site kept trying to have me do my taxes on-line which I did not want.

In addition to the above problems TurboTax for Mac requires the latest OS which will not run on my Macintosh Macbook. If I want to use TurboTax next year I have to buy a new Mac.
What's great about it: Allows me to complete my own taxes.
What's not so great: Every year getting and using the program gets more complicated.
