I have used the product for years and it has only improved over time. I do have a financial background so am able to get by with just Deluxe edition. Having the option to walk through all income and deductions would be useful for someone inexperienced in tax preparation. For the more experienced, it is nice to simply pick and choose the relevant sections.
Really like the feature which allows you to download 1099's from brokerage houses. This is not Intuit's/Turbo Tax's problem but you do have to wait usually until late February for those brokerage firms to release the information.
What's great about it: Easy to use for both experienced and inexperienced tax preparers
What's not so great: Would be nice if state filing was also free
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy file

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. Every year, they keep making improvements, to make it easier to understand and navigate. It takes a lot of anxiety out of the process.
What's great about it: User friendly, easy to understand interface
What's not so great: none

TurboTax is very nice and easy to use every year it seems to get better and better!
What's great about it: easy to understand, didn't take much of my time!
What's not so great: Make sure they don't over charge you.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Very easy

I've used Turbo Tax software for many years and will plan to continue using it in future years. I have confidence that my federal and state returns are accurate. Thank you Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Step by step instructions allow for a very easy tax filing process.
What's not so great: Zero cons.

Easier than expected

There was only one area that I had a little trouble with. It was on the W2 section for the 12a-12d instructions. It wasn't exactly clear on the lines & letters that were to be completed.

Filing your taxes is made simple using Turbo Tax. The only problems I had were:
1. Trying to delete a business that is no longer in service from previous year, including assets used for the business.
There should be a questions that asks if the business is still in service.
2. Limited information on purchase of home when the funds from sale of previous home. (I went to IRS site for further clarification.)
