I've used Trubotax for the last 10 years

I've used turbotax programs for the past 10 years. It's simple to use and I'm confidant that the math is always correct.
What's great about it: Math is ALWAYS correct
What's not so great: Ust the I'll choose the sections on my own instead of walk me thru it

I would like to see RMD spelled out specifically. It is difficult with a lot of questions not necessary. There should be a simple RMD entry.
What's great about it: overall fairly easy
What's not so great: how to handle RMD's is not clear.

Turbo Tax is Back

After last year, I was very disappointed with Turbotax, removing key sheets needed for my parents, but this year, it is back and better than ever. It is easy, fast, and functional and is and will be the tax software I will continue to use for years to come.
What's great about it: Excellent all around
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

OTHER THAN HAVING TO GO BACK AND FORTH FOR A BIT TO FINNALY GET IT TO SAY FEDERAL FIILING WAS FREE, IT WAS GOOD.
What's great about it: ASKS A LOT OF QUESTIONS
What's not so great: LITTLE CONFUSING AT THE END - TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR EFILING FEDERAL RETURN AT FIRST

Online updates

When I opened TT it asked me if I wanted to update with the latest info. OK.
Starts and Microsoft says it is an "unknown provider. "
I expected to see "Intuit". Scares me when I see something like this.

TT worked like a charm for me, been using it since 2005 to do
my taxes.

Great program

I have been using Turbo Tax the last 4 years now and it has been easy for me to use. if i get stuck on a question the forums seem to help out a lot as well.
What's great about it: Easy to use, answers all your questions
What's not so great: none at the moment
