Best I Have Found!

This is my second year with TurboTax Deluxe after using another tax prep software for over 10 years. My old tax software seemed to get more confusing year after year and I decided to give TurboTax a try last year. It's the best decision I've made!
TurboTax setup and installation is buttery-smooth, and even updates are applied without having to exit and re-start the software.
TurboTax was able to find my W-2's online and populated all the necessary fields automatically; plus it was able to import information from my prior year return which minimized effort to complete this years' return.
In the rare instance when I was unsure about a deduction the embedded help quickly clarified eligibility. I was able to complete my return and e-file within 40 minutes, and that included the time required to download and install the software.
Overall TurboTax is very intuitive, the Interview questions are clear and concise and all eligible deductions were applied. Highly recommended!

Not user-friendly for stock trades

I will most likely switch to a different software next year if TurboTax doesn't upgrade its stock trading import section. For some reason, it doesn't accurately reflect my stock trade trade amounts which were Wash sales, so I had to manually key in the letter W for several hundred trades.
What's great about it: User-friendly interface
What's not so great: Cannot import stock trades accurately

I have been using TurboTax for several years and I have always been very pleased with the ease and thorough process the tool provides.
What's great about it: Easy and through tool for doing my own taxes
What's not so great: As with any tax filing, you need to have all your information

TurboTax did it again!

I've been using TurboTax since 2004 and haven't had any issues from using it to prepare, review and eFile my returns. I haven't used any other digital program to compare it with, but I recommend this product highly. Prior to 2004, we had our returns prepared by a CPA and that was just fine, till I finally tried using TurboTax. I won't go back.
