...And I even did my mother-in-law's

I did tax returns for myself (which I've used Turbo Tax for every year), and for my mother-in-law. I guess it's a credit to the program that I was able to find out all the information I needed and file the taxes. The questions allowed me to gather all pertinent information and find documents that were missing. Even with her messed up information, I managed to get everything done on time.
What's great about it: Easy to find information and easy to find answers
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The application seemed more streamlined and efficient this year. Job well done on restoring the Deluxe version to prior year capabilities and working to enhance the end user experience.

Complete and Helpful Program

This is my first time using Turbo Tax. It was easy to navigate when I used the step by step method of filling in my W-2's and 1099's. I will use Turbo Tax next year. It saved me more than $100 because I did not need an in-person tax preparer. Thank you Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: User Friendly
What's not so great: Could only complete one State return for free

Great tax software.

I have been using TurboTax since the 80's and have found it to be an easy tax software to use. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to do their own tax.
What's great about it: easy to use.
What's not so great: Needs more support for small investments.

What's not so great: ira to roth ira conversion needs a bit more detail explanation.

Easy way to do my taxes!

The best tax program I have ever used, easy to follow instructions
and tells you where to look for the information. I have used this program for the last six years and will continue to do so!

What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions. Explains what documents you need and how to file them!
What's not so great: Some of the state forms did not flow over from the federal program.

Some problems

This is very confusing, particularly with estimated tax payments.
This needs to be clarified.

There are some worksheets, e.g., Carryover, Annualized Items items that did not have entries when I tried to file, and I was not familiar with them. Hard to determine what went in those items.
