Frustratingly slow

Easy to use.

I was waiting for my bank to have 1099 data available for importing. They changed the date several times. Each time I launched Turbo Tax it started back at personal data input until I was able to finally import.
What's great about it: Very flexible. I can specify which topics to cover or let Turbo Tax guide me through everything.
What's not so great: It starts back at beginning of personal data until the first income is input.

Almost too easy

I've been using TurboTax for 8 years now and it's so easy I can't imagine how I got through the old paper forms. Each year I use the step-by-step process that TurboTax provides and each year I get to the end and think I must have missed something, because it went so smooth and easy.
Being able to download information from the previous year makes the entire process very easy. From the moment I get started TurboTax already knows who I am and what bank and income info to ask me about. I can then download forms like W2's, 1099's, etc., and then I mainly just have to dowble check info and not have to enter it.

Two States same year

We moved in the middle of the year 2015 from California to Idaho. I had never done two state taxes in the same year, and without Turbo tax I would have had to find a tax person. Turbo tax asked the same questions a tax person would have asked. Doing them at home took less time and cost less too.
What's great about it: I liked the stress-free, easy way of answer question and then the forms are all filled in for me.
What's not so great: There were a few times that I had to back and change numbers in the forms. That was not always easy for me.

2015 Return

Everthing was seamless until I tried to E-File.
TurboTax kept going back to an itemized deduction for use of my wife's car for info when she has not used it for eork for 2- 3 years, Plus I took the standard deduction so the info being asked for was not required.
Very annoying!
