All in all, this is about the sixth year I have used Turbo Tax and have been very pleased. Thanks.
What's great about it: 90% good
What's not so great: Had problems with discerning where to put other income w/o 1099 form.

I had a good experience doing my taxes this year with Turbo Tax Deluxe. It was easy to navigate and the instructions were clear and simple to follow. I would definitely recommend this product.

Easy step by step walk-through on how file your taxes. Loads prior year information to save a TON of time. File electronically....NO PAPER, NO HASSLE, DONE!

It is so simple it is a bit scary. I used to pay large $$ to have my taxes done.
Now with TurboTax, I can go through basically the same question and answer process that I previously did with an accountant but this time without the accountant and all the pleasantries
What's great about it: Makes it easy to transfer and do your taxes based on data from the following year

Deluxe For Investments

I have investments that included a broker managed account who supplied statements (downloadable) for normal interest, dividends, security sales, etc.
Deluxe worked great for me since I did not have a home sale or perhaps other events that would have made it advantageous to use an upgrade. Glad to see that Turbotax CD version included the help and features I needed instead of forcing me to an upgrade last year. As usual the software was easy to use and gave great results, not even requiring that I contact the community for help.
What's great about it: Import worked very well eliminating much manual input and guidance ok
What's not so great: none really
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Not too sure why people pay for this service when Turbo Tax is available.... Thank You for the information. Anyone can do their taxes. Just need to keep good records.

Have used TurboTax for years to prepare all my taxes and my family taxes. Has never been a mistake. I love it, it is simple and easy to use and saves me lots of frustrations in having to figure out anything on my own.
What's great about it: Guides you step by step
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
