I love Turbo Tax. It's very EASY and it gives you so many resources and details to help you understand each section. I also love the step by step process. This is the way to go!!!

An Agonizing Task Made Easy

I think TurboTax knows more about income tax law than any one human. I feel confident using it. I have used it for over 20 years, and the user interface has matured admirably over the years.
My only complaint is that copy/paste is disabled and passwords don't display. There is no option provided for this. Does anyone imagine that users work on their income tax when strangers are watching the screen? Secure passwords are almost impossible to type blind.
What's great about it: Simple things are easy, and difficult things are feasible.
What's not so great: Passwords etc. are pointlessly difficult.

Nice Product

fast and efficient. the main problem i had was that all the continue buttons were at the bottom on the page. Not a big issue just an annoyance.
What's great about it: For the first time I was able to download my W-2 and import it directly into TurboTax.
What's not so great: Not compatible with 10.6 OS X

What's great about it: EASE OF DATA ENTRY
What's not so great: SOME EXPLANATIONS OF OPTIONS WERE DIFFICULT TO COMPREHEND

No warm and fuzzy feeling

I feel less and less comfortable with the program each year. I have to go more and more to the supplemental descriptions to figure things out, and the walk through format seems disconnected from the actual tax return itself.
What's great about it: Same basic format as it has been
What's not so great: Have to go to the explanations too often to understand questions
