Great Experience

It was so easy, once I was able to get started. I have a new laptop and my previous returns were done with the downloadable version of intuit, so accessing my previous returns for auto-filling some of the basic information was a bit of a pain, but once I got going I had fun. It is such a great product, I won't even consider any of Intuit's competitors if they continue providing this kind of quality!
What's great about it: Easy, Clear, and actually kind of fun!
What's not so great: I purchased a CD this year as opposed to downloading it from online and there was no link to my past filings.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax needs to work on its section on college education expenses and the handling of 1099-Q forms. Users have to override the forms to get the correct amounts for qualified education expenses. This needs to be fixed!
What's not so great: College education and ESA sections need work

TurboTax is very easy to use

TurboTax took most of the hassle out of filing taxes. I'm glad I won't have to deal with a form K-1 (for a limited partnership) again next year. The paperwork involved isn't work the small amount of income those partnerships generate, and they file their K-1 forms later than any other financial provider.
What's great about it: I mostly just had to transfer data from various forms.
What's not so great: The K-1 instructions weren't very clear or easy to follow.

I love TurboTax! I am a novice in understanding how to do my taxes but TurboTax made it easy for me to understand by using the step by step instructions. And to get the filing of my taxes done. No more headaches! I am finished!

Aghhh spent too much time on education credit part

Not clear for college education credits especially when there is a Prepaid plan ( not just 529 saving plan) and there is a scholarship received. It may be the tax code that is complicated, but it took me almost 10+ hours to figure out how to complete after many trials and errors entering the data, and reviewing the Student Information worksheets, and going back and forth trying to figure out what to enter on the adjustments under part VI Education Expenses that show on this worksheet after information is entered.
The older software version, would easily show source data on the worksheets, and would point back at the exact location where source data was entered. The latest version of the Turbo, is not showing the source data in an effective way.
What's great about it: Very easy to complete most of the return data. Very nice and easy to enter the State tax return data.
What's not so great: Too complicated and minimal help available for entering the college tuition expenses and credits.
