I have been using Turbo Tax for 5 years. Last year I used Tax Act and it was horrible, horrible. Never again. Turbo tax is the very best.

Great product. I've been using it for years and years, and wouldn't even think of looking at another. I really appreciate the help function - I had to type in a couple questions and quickly got exactly what I was looking for.
Glad TT decided to leave the Schedule C in the Deluxe version. For a simple Realtor business we sure didn't want to have to upgrade.

What's great about it: rollover of prior year's data; ease of use; great review features
What's not so great: if you have to go back to a prior entry, you have to tab all the way back out

Easy to use

I've use Turbo tax for many years and think it does a great job. It's very handy to be able to import data for many w-2s, and 1099s. That saves time and helps eliminate mistakes (typos). And it keeps the info from prior year and shows a comparison, to help spot items that might need further review.
What's great about it: simple to use. imports many of the income items. covers all the significant income and expense items.
What's not so great: is sometimes a bit confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Would be great if all my forms came together and then my wives so I do not have to go back and forward entering our numbers.
What's great about it: Waks you thru it with a fine tooth comb
What's not so great: had to go back and forth between my wife figures and mine.

Less than last year

Although I was able to complete this year's tax filing, more than once it asked if I wanted to upgrade Turbo Tax. I have the same situation as last year without issue then. I don't like the up scope sell offers at all. Put what each version does on the box, and be done with it.
What's great about it: Nice guided tour of taxes and deductions
What's not so great: Seems like Deluxe does less than it did last year
