This year was subpar

I've used TurboTax for my personal taxes for years. Never - until this year - have I been uncomfortable or frustrated with the product. But next year I think I'm going to try the H&R Block program instead. This year's TurboTax not only failed to update on Mac computers, but it also failed to transfer my state sales tax from the interview to my return. That would have resulted in roughly a $1000 overpayment by me to the IRS. My accountant found the omission after I asked him to review my return for errors.
And the decision by Intuit to not address the inability to run update on Mac computers this year was absolutely ridiculous. If you're not going to support the TurboTax version for Mac, then stop selling it!
What's great about it: TurboTax is always easy to follow. Questioning is in depth and complete. For the money, Turbotax has no competitors.
What's not so great: No live support. Decision not to support their Mac product was a major blunder.

TurboTax Deluxe 2015 Review

Generally a great product. Apparently you can use TurboTax on line without getting a disk and that should be advertised more clearly.
What's great about it: It worked like a charm.
What's not so great: I thought the part about estimated federal taxes for 2016 was confusing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

18 Years of TurboTax and counting

I have been using TurboTax for 18+ years and love it, it takes the headache out of tax filing. I have had some difficult and complicated situations that affected my filings (living in Guam, married on Saipan, moving expenses, major accident. losses, etc) and all situations were covered by TurboTax software and, at times, with on-line help.

Have used TurboTax for a long time. Prefer to purchase CD from retail outlet rather than online. Package has provided good results for some time now.

Very positive, keeps getting better, it is why I keep coming back year after year.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Help is much improved. Convenient. My brokers are on the list.
What's not so great: None. Although the e-file process could be more snappy.
