The Real World

As a former Turbo Tax user I turned to you after a period of needing a tax professional to help me as a Sole Proprietor. I always found the product easy to use when it was just straight forward tax prep. I don't place blame on Turbo Tax for the complexity of the Tax system. Intuit has taken on a task that, quite frankly, is beyond the scope of many. I must say the Healthcare Worksheet error did me no favors during review. The Community aspect relieved me of my worry and provided good direction for resolving my question.Taxes make almost everyone nervous. Your software removes a great deal of angst. Thank you for trying to simplify this interwoven unnecessarily complex system of taxation.
What's great about it: Efficient, Cost effective, Smooth, Easy to use, A plethora of help included.
What's not so great: Error in work sheet created anxiety, couldn't find a form even with help.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've been using TurboTax for years. I see no reason to engage an outside consultant and pay someone for doing what I can do. While completing taxes can never be considered "fun", when I finish the filing process and look at the returns I'll be getting, I can't help but smile
What's great about it: Simple and complete. M<akes filing a task that I can handle myself, and TurboTax helps by preventing me from making cos
What's not so great: Sorry - but to me there are no Cons. TurboTax is perfect for my filings.

Just scrach my head?

Would not accept prior years data, may have but did not have prior year software. only had data files from years data.
Healthcare entries were very confusing. Should have a choice of Medicare, tri-care, VA etc., would have been helpful and much simpler.
What's great about it: Good, just have to check definitions for all the terms.
What's not so great: Would not accept my data files from prior years directly.

Tax Returns Made Simple

I have been using Turbo-Tax for over 7 years and it is by far one of the most easy tax programs to use. Also, it has proven to be very accurate.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and navigate.
What's not so great: None

turbo tax first timer

over all was good experience now that im familar with the layout and tabs it will be easier next year
What's great about it: like the way calculated from federal to state & letting you save and go back and check
What's not so great: some one the question for deduction didnt understand, u can't call anyone and the search,answer sometimes vague
