This is an excellent product.

I have used Turbo Tax for almost 20 years. It's a great product and enables me to prepare my returns with minimum difficulty. In previous years, Turbo Tax automatically downloaded pertinent information from the last year's tax return. For some reason, it did not do that this year. But, it wasn't a significant issue. The step-by-step instructions are easy to follow and help aids are very informative.
What's great about it: User friendly
What's not so great: Did not pull data from previous year's return

mail file of state return not offered

How to file state? Looks like they are trying to force you to pay for a state e-file which is not worth the money to me. I did print out the state form (minus the page for electronic filing) and will mail that in but the button for last year for mail in filing is gone.
What's great about it: ok, same as in the past
What's not so great: but, does not offer a mail in return for the state

Super easy walk through. Error check had 2 line check items somewhat confusing.
What's great about it: Very Easy to use
What's not so great: Error check can yield too tough a question at times

2015 Taxes

When exploring all the possible deductions, I'd rather see the next deduction at the top of the list rather than having scrolling to the bottom of the page.
What's great about it: Liked the organization and simplicity

good product need flexibility in Estimated taxes

I use this to prepare my Va. return and my daughter's NY returns, It's great as a one-stop source for all the latest rules and ease of filling out the forms.
Would like to determine my income and withholding for following year in order to determine a customized Estimated Taxes. Do not know how Turbo Tax now computes the estimated amounts.

Good Stuff

I've used TurboTax for the last 12 years. It's easy, I work on them when I want, and I'm able to see what's going on. I know from experience, if there's anything in addition to simple wages, working up the taxes can be a real chore. TurboTax makes it easy.
What's great about it: Stress-Free Taxes
Pros: I bought or sold investments

i'd like to know if pension, 401k & 457 contributions are deductible.
