I would prefer to be able to go from Forms to Step by Step and get to the same part of the program rather than having to start over or at the beginning of a section.

I do not recommend this software

I got through virtually the entire interview process in under an hour which for me is pretty quick. However a glitch in the calculation tables caused me not to get full credit back from 529 college savings account withdrawals. After several hours of seeking online assistance and playing with the numbers in the program I was forced to make up college expense numbers on the form in order for Turbo Tax to allow my 529 college savings account withdrawals without penalties. This may cause problems with the IRS, as I reported extra tuition expenses, however if I get audited I will be able to prove withdrawals were legitimate. This was a big snafu on the part of Turbo Tax and I will not use them next year.
What's great about it: Pretty intuitive, easy to navigate after a little study
What's not so great: Errors In Education Expense Calculations

Great product! Very detailed. Easy to use for first timers or experienced tax people.
However, every time i open this program it wants to download a new version or update - makes me feel like they are correcting mistakes in the program. That makes me feel uncomfortable and doubt the accuracy of the return. Good thing they guarantee that the return is accurate although its limited to only your purchase price!
Wow - 30 some pages to print my simple state return. Really a bit too much! Thank goodness I did not let "print all forms" go to the printer - that was over 300 pages ! ! !

What's great about it: Covers and prints everything in great detail
What's not so great: Too many updates. Wants to print and print using as much paper as it can.
