Good with some suggestion

Overall good product.
AMT credit carryover was not automatic in an sense and forms were hard to find. Also it was not clear if it was doing things, filling them in, and if so if they were calculated into the return.
AMT and carryover need some work.
Per Diem: I'm an Airline Pilot, and it was difficult to find where to put what from my W2. Under DOT rules it needs to be clear that airline "Crew Members" should check this box.
Overall Per Diem was a bit challenging and could us more explanation.
Great product overall and thank you for including a survey.
What's great about it: pretty easy to get around and go back to check prev work
What's not so great: AMT carry over weak & Per Diem a bit weak

Printing copies of return - tax and PDF

Simplify downloading additional forms etc. Otherwise good.

State Tax filing

The State of Oregon (or perhaps TurboTax) limits who can e-file their State return for free. In my opinion it is way more cost effective to e-file a state return than to print out and send a hard copy OR re-do everything on the State's web site. EVERYONE regardless of income level should be allowed to e-file for free.

Disappointed user of Turbo Tax for 20+ years

Exhausting, and in the past it has been much easier.
What's great about it: it draws on my past experience in advising me.
What's not so great: crucial explanations are sometimes ambiguous or indeciperable

Confusing

At the e-file stage it was not clear what was being charged for what services. It looked like an effort to get us to pay more for services than was required.
We may try another product next year, although we have be using TurboTax for many years.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Confusing charges

Turbo Tax is #1

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and I do not dread doing my taxes. Only once did I need additional help. Submitted my question and within five minutes I had the answer in my email that solved the problem. Couldn't ask for any better product and service.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Just read and answer the questions.
What's not so great: None

High level sense of product
