Everything was fine until it became time to pay!!

I am a regular user of Turbotax - both when I was an independent consultant as well as when I am W2. I find the software easy to use, the interactions intuitive and the filing simple. I like the way it remembers all my information from the previous year and gets the carry over on items that are eligible. This year was my first negative experience with the check out for paying the efile fee for my state tax. The IVR (interactive voice response) experience is ridiculous and time consuming which had a negative impact on my rating.
What's great about it: Easy to follow steps and import of information from ADP and Lending Club
What's not so great: bounced out of the state filing payment process and having to deal with the stupid IVR process

Quick and easy

Overall, the use this year was a good experience. I would like a little more information on what the IRS is looking for on foreign income. The answers to my questions became clear only when I printed the preview.
What's great about it: Fairly quick and painless
What's not so great: Could use a little more explanation on how it looks at foreign income.

Tax filer is number one for Turbo Tax

i have been a Turbo Tax user for a number of years and
I have never had a problem with my returns being rejected.

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 15 years

I was little nervous the very first time I used Turbo Tax. Each year I felt a little more confident in myself. Now after 15 years I have all the confidence in Turbo Tax and in myself. It is a great product. I would certainly recommend Turbo Tax to my family and friends.
What's great about it: I have never been disappointed.
What's not so great: Absolutely none

Good product except for 1099-B

I put in some of the info for 1099-B that was on the form, but it wanted more so I started to put in more and decided it was too hard; so I imported the info. I had lots of trouble going back and making suer all was correct. It didn't even catch many of the duplicate entries. The rest of the Turbo tax was easy and wonderful

Did not ask if I had an IP PIN number. My return was rejected when I e-filed! Had to go back in and locate it. Took up some time. Just efiled again with the ip pin number. Don't know if it was rejected again. The ip pin number I received from the IRS says that the tax software will ask you for it...it didn't.
What's great about it: easy

TURBO TAX ROCKS!!

I bought & compared Turbo Tax to other systems one year & Turbo Tax was much easier & more complete. I have never gone back to any other system. Each year it becomes easier & more complete. I plan on increasing my interaction with Turbo Tax by utilizing the other cool programs so I can keep up with my volunteer work & appropriate credits & deductions.
I truly am thrilled with Turbo Tax . . . Thank you for making such a cool product!!
