Finished and fast

Overall, I love TurboTax. I get through my taxes as soon as everything comes in and then it's filed and done. It is easy to input information and easy to go back to things that need to be adjusted. Once it's checked it is easy to efile.
Only downside is that it has to update each time you open it so if it is more than one session expect the program to reload.
What's great about it: easy, intuitive, fast
What's not so great: loading the program takes forever

Loved Turbo Tax. It made our tax preparation as painless as possible.
What's great about it: The ease of moving back and forth within the preparation
What's not so great: Can't see the actual 1040 form

turbo is the way to go ,especially if you are retired and don't have the old multiple Biz deductions.I'm sure we will use it again.

A fun way to do taxes.

I do have an accounting background, but I am not a tax expert. I find Turbotax is an easy and fun way to do taxes compared to the manual method i used to do in past history. The step by step method covers everything one needs to fill out a correct return.
Downloading info directly from the brokerage account is a real boon.

The Gold Standard

I have used TurboTax for several years and continue to be quite satisfied. The Download from last year's returns makes things much easier. The multiple approaches to filling in the information, step by step or custom sequence is helpful. The document view is also helpful. Once completed I have confidence that the e-filing transmission will go flawlessly.
What's great about it: Overall experience
What's not so great: A little light on the State return instructions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall I've used Turbo Tax for 10+ years...has never let me down!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is straightforward and easy to use
What's not so great: Minor issue with have a recharacterization and conversion for IRAs, directions/help isn't very clear

Have used Turbo Tax for 15+ years
We have never had an issue or problem with it
I particular like the ability to ask tax questions and get answers thru the program.
I also appreciate the status updates of our returns
