EZ TO USE

As tax preparer for AARP Foundation for seven years I found Turbo Tax easier to use than their TaxWise package

Great Product

I have used Turbo-Tax to file my taxes for a lot of years and continue to find the software a great asset at tax time. This year my mother passed away and Turbo Tax was helpful filing her final return, but wouldn't let me e-file the return due to "Federal Regulations" indicating I need to mail the return. I checked the IRS rules and they state that the return could have been e-filed. Not a big deal but another small annoyance and delay in settling my mother's affairs. I expect to continue using Turbo Tax in the future.
What's great about it: Easy to use, covered all my circumstances
What's not so great: Wouldn't e-file my deceased mother's return

Some changes this year

I have used TurboTax for several years and will continue.
What's great about it: Walked me through all my deductions
What's not so great: I had to restart 3 times because form wasn't saved. Some deductions were skipped and I had to go back and find them.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

If you can follow instructions you will have no problems. It just doesn't get much easier than this. Have used for years and will continue to do so.
What's great about it: Just about as idiot proff as anyone can make this process.

I have been using TurboTax for the last 10 years. This year was the fasting and easiest. It took me one hour to complete my taxes this year. I like the friendly message like - Ok this will take a little longer...
