Never had a problem till this year. Trouble signing in and out. tried for two hours to pay for state e filing. wouldnt let me. my card was valid and had plenty on balance. Im just frustrated this year.
What's not so great: wouldnt let me pay for state return.

need a refund for charges to E-file

I had to do a two state return and attempted to E-file the second state but the state rejected it because I did not have a filing history with the state. I had lived out of state for 35 years.
Now I need to get a refund from Intuit for the rejected E-file

during review problems found did not give enough info to know how to resolve
What's great about it: covering all the tax items
What's not so great: for the 3rd or 4th year my detail would not transfer to the new year

The ability to transfer last year's material to this year's forms was very useful. As I've remarked, the ability to move back and forth between sections and items was critical, as was the ability to access the explanations, which were clear and useful. In the medical section, I would have preferred knowing about the need for itemization (and which items) at the very start, so as to help with preparing my data.
What's great about it: the choices about actions to take, the explanations, and, most especially, the ability to flag or return to items
What's not so great: don't care for the "friendly" dialog and exclamation points. we're all adults here.

Overall, better and better. Need some tweaking to make it even easier for non-technology people who still want to do their own taxes on a computer. Keep working on it.
What's great about it: Good step by step
What's not so great: Manipulation of forms and entries sometimes confusing
Pros: I bought or sold investments
