For someone that does not know much about taxes this program is a life saver. Affordable way to complete my taxes and get the most money back.
What's great about it: So easy to use the program asks all the questions needed
What's not so great: So far there is nothing I have found wrong using this program

WHEN WANTING TO ENTER ITEMS THAT WERE DONATED,TT DIDNT WORK AS IT HAD IN THE PAST. BEFORE AL LIST OF CATAGORIES POPED UP TO SELECT FROM-THEN SELECT -ENTER QUANITY-AND WAS MIGRATED TO PROPER PLACE.THIS YEAR I HAD TO GOT TO THE "ITS DEDUCTABLE" AND CREATE A LOGIN - ENTER ITEMS -THEM GO BACK TO TT AND HAVE THE ITEMS MIGRATED TO MY RETURN. SINCE I DO FILE RETURNS FOR OTHERS IN MY FAMILY,EACH TIME I WANTED TO DO A NEW RETURN I HAD TO START OVER AND EDIT ITS DEDUCTABLE TO HAVE THE NEW INFO TRANSFERED.....NOT THAT WAY IN PREVIOUS YEARS! DIDNT LIKE THE CHANGE
What's great about it: STRAIGHT FORWARD AVENUE TO FILLING
What's not so great: DONATIONS TO CHARTIY - NOT WORKING

Did a return for my brother-in-law who passed away in 2015. Did everything I should have done, but IRS would not accept the e-file for this return - had to send it hard copy and then got it back from IRS cause there was no signature on the 1040 - Duh - he died so I had my wife sign it with the appropriate form to claim the refund -- Turbo tax still has this return flagged as being something that needs to be done. Turbo tax did not handle this situation very well!
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Death return

VERY SIMPLE AND EASY TO FOLLOW... DONE IN NO TIME!!

Another Great Year with Turbo Tax

Overall good experience. However, although there is an HSA section, it is not intuitive on where to enter HSA Contributions (as opposed to HSA Distributions).
What's great about it: Walks you through everything
What's not so great: Hard to understand where to enter HSA Contributions

Good product

Overall, very easy to use. I've used TurboTax for years and it definitely saves me time. This year, 2 states to file due to part year residency. Alot of calculations on my part, but glad I didn't have to fill in two states worth of info. My only issue is that a tax refund in 1 state was applied to a state I didn't have residency in...oh well.
What's great about it: Simple & straightforward, online help
What's not so great: Didn't allow me to easily address part year residency in 2 states

Great Every Year

I have used Turbo Tax for several years. It is the only thing I would use. It is very easy to follow and asks all appropriate questions to get the highest refund possible.
What's great about it: Helps me figure out where everything goes with investments
What's not so great: None
