17 Year turbo TAX useer

im sure there are other software programs one can use to get through the grueling ordeal of completing and filing taxes. I've used TurboTax for, at least, seventeen years. I feel comfortable with this product and all the support that is available. I will stay with what I feel is a great company with a great product. Never had a security issue. That is peace of mind.
What's great about it: quick, easy, cost effective software
What's not so great: i have no complaints, concerns, etc.

Filed my return 5 weeks earlier than I wanted

How could you allow this to happen you paid my taxes March 1st when I asked for it to be paid April 10th, Not good turbo tax
What's not so great: When I used credit card to pay for NJ ,the whole thing was sent in to the Federal Govt

With a few stock sales, dividends, etc this year - the downloads from the financial institutions were valuable. Make sure you check them over, though. City tax withheld did not show up on the W2 and a stock sale was listed under code E instead of D.
What's great about it: Uploading W2s and 1099s
What's not so great: None
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Oregon out of state return

The out of state program could use a little improvement relating to educational expenses. I had to go to Oregon's instructions to figure it out. TurboTax did alert me that there was a discrepancy between the state and federal amount

What's not so great: To many glitches if you are e filing. Hard to get the info for an older accoutn with intuit
