Made my life easier

Easier to work with than past years in that I can get back to other sections if I have to skip around.
What's great about it: Easy to use without going through all the paper manuals from the IRS.
What's not so great: Sometimes I can't get back to where I want without going through an entire section.

been using turbo tax since 2005 and hopefully will never have to quit- ie. because of unforeseen taxes that I don't understand how to input.
What's great about it: walked through
What's not so great: it flew past the ad valorem and I had the devil of the time trying to get back to that spot to add information

Easier Tax Prep

Easy to obtain new years software., Once started easy to follow directions, explanations and other references are good, and the whole package is tidy and comfortable to work with.
What's great about it: Everything straight forward and easy to follow
What's not so great: No detractors

Good - But

I filled the federal email and tried to mail the state forms. The online help wasted an hour demonstrating this is a common problem but could not find a solution. Out of frustration I thrashed about the program and found a way to print the form. I would have hoped that Turbotax would have monitored the questions being asked and possible provided educated solutions. Disappointed in TurboTax
What's great about it: the preloading of past tax forms
What's not so great: Heaven help you if you have a question as the online feature sucks.

Easy to Use

Turbo Tax makes doing your own taxes easy. The steps are super easy to follow and the program does a good job of taking you to the different options as to maximize the total refund.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Sometimes unsure if filling out correct

I have used turbo tax for a long time. Every year it gets simple to use. I love how it saves and transfers last years to the current year.
What's great about it: easier every year
What's not so great: cost
