TurboTax for 2015

This was my first experience using TurboTax and while the data entry and filing process was easy and understandable, the downloading and beginning of the program was very frustrating and could use some improvement. I will most likely use this program again next year. Also more advertising for online tax redemption should be thought of because I would have much preferred that than the CD and downloading process that I used this time.
What's great about it: Understandable
What's not so great: Explanations not clear on how to download the CD version
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2015 Taxes

All in all, good program. Questions were deep diving and covered all appropriate areas. Was impressed with ease of imports. Would like to see more financial institutions represented in the interest section.
What's great about it: Deep Diving Questions
What's not so great: Does not give breakdown of standard deduction vs. itemized deduction

Nice improvements

I haven't used Turbo Tax in 2 years and it seems a lot more useable than it was. I'll be back next year.
What's great about it: The program seems more user friendly than when I used it 2 years ago
What's not so great: I wish I could have had a bail-out button when I realized the rest of the deduction catagories applied to me.

Overall, Turbo Tax does a reasonably good job of simplifying things, but taxes are complicated and there's no getting around that. Efforts should be made to continue to make the details more user friendly, so users can understand what the individual deductions and such mean.
What's great about it: Inclusion of last year's information already entered in; automatic filling in of W2 stuff from ADP
What's not so great: Some things are just confusing. Do I have these things? I don't think so, but I may be missing something.
