filed state with errors

I filed state of Indiana taxes and their was an error in your program. taxes were rejected and had to wait 13 days for patch to fix problem and re-file. Also, state taxes were not as easy to prepare as in the past. The step by step was not easy to follow.
What's great about it: transferred information from previous year
What's not so great: not as easy to use as in past, especially state return

Long Term Satisfied Customer

I've been using Turbo Tax for years. Every year it gets better. The user interface is easy to use and inspires confidence in that you feel like you're doing your return correctly. I like that it transfers the data from last year's returns. This saves time and gives the user a sanity check. As in, are my dividends about like last year for example.
What's great about it: Easy to use (and fun). Provides user confidence that he is filing his return correctly.

Good product but sometimes repetitive with questions leaving you wondering if you were putting things in the right places.
What's great about it: Without doubt accuracy is spot on.
What's not so great: Difficult to maneuver among different forms.

State tax requires separation of income, etc. State also allows certain income and expense exemptions, but they have to be allocated. Finally found the appropriate form. Could be clarified.
What's great about it: Ability to directly download broker info into forms.
What's not so great: Navigation of deductions a bit cloudy.

Prompts were missing. Answers to questions would tell me to go to MY ACCOUNT in the upper right hand corner - but it wasn't there! In the past it would ask about Long Term Care Premiums. I had to hunt them down this time and am still not SURE they got totaled in. WORST: it did not pick up my files from 2014.
What's great about it: it does remind me of things I might have forgotten
What's not so great: vastly inferior this year to others
