Love It!

Love it, my whole family has been using Turbo Tax for years, it even goes back years to find us deductions. My husband always used to take his in and pay extra to file them and has been very impressed with how easy TurboTax makes it.
What's great about it: Crazy fast and easy
What's not so great: no free state filing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Nice...but could use a few tweaks

Overall, nice program. Have used it for 15+ years. However, the splitting of the various functions between versions is frustrating. For example, if you're a homeowner, with a kid in college, a few investments, you can't use the basic version. Also, it would be nice to have a quicker/easier interface to jump between forms, make edits, and a "WHAT IF?" function would be really nice (i.e. a function to show you what happens to your taxes in certain circumstances like cashing in a bond or selling a house without having to actually commit all that data to the program, then remember to remove it)
What's great about it: ease of use
What's not so great: functionality splits between versions

IT WAS AN EASY PROGRAM TO DO AND IT IS CHECKED TO MAKE SURE THAT NO MISTAKES HAVE BEEN MADE. I DID NOT HAVE ALL OF THE APPROPRIATE PAPERWORK BY MY SIDE SO IT TOOK ME LONGER THAN I THINK THAT IT WOULD NORMALLY TAKE. ITS GREAT.
What's great about it: THERE ARE MANY PROS BECAUSE FOR ONE YOU CAN STOP AND RETURN WHEN EVERY YOU DEEM NECESSARY. THEY HAVE A TEAM OF PEOPLE
What's not so great: YOU BETTER HAVE EVERYTHING RIGHT AND AT YOUR FINGER TIPS

merge acounts and windows 10

even if both people filed the year before using same turbo tax program can not import both people's personel info into a joint return. Also could not download update of turbotax using windows 10 software. Had to call customer support.

Just a slight hitch.

During the review process, an error was found on state Form 5695K Tp related to Energy Tax Credit. I had not tax credit earned this year. On the screen "Other Tax Credits", the box by Energy Efficient Products Tax Credit is checked and I cannot uncheck it. Have not found a solution yet.
What's great about it: Fills out my forms quickly and checks for errors
What's not so great: Review shows error on Form 5695K Tp, cannot correct

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and never once did I have any kind of problems and over the years they have made very helpful improvements.
It's great to have it all neatly printed out.
